Tinkoff Bank, which recently changed its main shareholder, has published a report for the first quarter of 2022. TCS Group data was disclosed in a minimal amount: they did not report on profit and revenue.

For the first time in the last 9 years, TCS Group did not disclose information on the financial results of the work for the first three months of this year. According to the report, the company’s profit for the quarter was lower compared to both the previous quarter and the same period for 2021. Last year, Tinkoff’s profit from January to March amounted to 14.2 billion rubles. The bank’s net interest income, on the contrary, increased in comparison with the previous year’s result. The company did not announce exact figures in this category either, but in last year’s report this figure was set at 35.4 billion rubles.

According to Tinkoff, the bank has a large liquidity balance, both in rubles and in foreign currencies, so the company has enough resources to cope with changing conditions this year.

Accurate information in the report was provided only for the client base, which has grown significantly after the imposition of sanctions against other banks. In three months, the number of Tinkoff clients increased by 1,900,000 people.
