In the capital’s shopping centers, the share of empty space reached 13%, which is comparable to the figures for 2010. At the same time, the figures do not take into account foreign brands that have closed their stores in Russia. A representative of the consulting company Nikoliers notes that traffic has fallen in many malls, although in many shopping centers the turnover has remained at the same level or even increased.
